Job brief

We are looking for a driven Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. The goal is to gradually achieve superior community engagement and intimacy, website traffic and social media growth by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Google+, Line, etc) to increase the visibility of company’s social content
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
  • Create editorial calendars and social media event schedules
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, present reports and then acting on the information
  • Collaborate with other divisions to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking.
  • D3 / S1 in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Ability to generate original ideas and think out-of-the-box.
  • A broad range of interests, including current affairs.
  • Content writing and simple editing (photo/video/text).
  • Performance and communication skills.
  • Personable and interesting appearance.
  • Good research and interviewing skills.
  • Positive attitude, easy-going, with good multitasking and organisational ability.
  • Working experience in social media or related field is a plus.
  • Familiar with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).
  • Willing to travel to conduct live reporting, interview, and other activities.
  • Willing to work at holidays if there are special events.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
